Early wing gloves
- Cut away the areas marked in red below, following the kit panel lines
- Insert the resin parts on the inside
- Add the glove fences

Early beaver tails
- Cut away the areas marked in red below, following the kit panel line for the upper fuselage. For the lower fuselage study the picture carefully before cutting!
- Assemble the kit fuselage as per normal instructions
- Add the resin beaver tail

Short gun muzzle panels
This is only for the early short gun muzzle! The 7-vent gun panel is a straight replacement for the kit part, no cutting required!

Inner RIO windshield
- First, fully assemble and paint the cockpit apart from the RIO coaming
- If your resin frame is from the early production batch (see picture), please cut the forward legs down to 7mm
- Remove the textile part of the kit coaming (First file it away, then add a bit of putty to remove the center split)
- Paint the coaming and the RIO windshield frame in black
- Assemble the coaming
- Add the pre-cut window to the frame
- Assemble the completed windshield in the cockpit

ARI assembly
If you want to build the ARI open
- Apply the cutting guides on each forward fuselage half as shown
- Drill out the center of the opening
- Finalize the opening with a small square file
- Insert the ARI hydraulic actuator
You can now join the fuselage halves. Once the forward canopy (whindshield) is installed you can add the ARI forward triangle:
- Apply the ARI forward triangle adhesive guide
- Glue the ARI forward triangle
You can now fully paint your model and the ARI canards, and finally assemble the ARI canards, using the hydraulic actuator head to locate it.

If you want to build the ARI closed
- Apply the adhesive guide as shown
- Glue the ARI canard in place, its lower edge along the adhesive guide
- Remove the adhesive guide
- Add the ARI forward triangle so it fits on the ARI canard corner
